About Ingleside Imaginarium
Ingleside Imaginarium started as a way to stitch patterns that I couldn't find anywhere else.
I dreamed of stitching fantasy creatures of all sorts... dragons, unicorns, gryphons! I had a hard time finding patterns I liked. So I started designing my own! I enjoy playing with different styles and subject matter, but dragons are definitely where my heart lies.
Ingleside Imaginarium was named for my very first NYC apartment, Ingleside, named after one of Anne Shirley's homes in the Anne of Green Gables series by LM Montgomery. It started out as an Etsy store where I sold 3D mixed media fantasy creatures, and then pivoted to cross stitch designs when I fell in love with cross stitching. Five years later, I'm still at Ingleside and still designing patterns!
About the Designer -
My name is Brittany Church. I live in Nashville, Tennessee, with my two cats, Daenerys and Rhaegar. I previously lived in NYC to pursue a career as a musical theatre actress, but then have transitioned from the stage to working at John Kristiansen New York, Inc, making costumes for Broadway, National Tours, Cruise Ships, Theme Parks, and more! My specialty was the application of rhinestones... Surprisingly this hasn't made it into my patterns, but I think it is just a matter of time. After feeling the need to slow down a bit, I've made the move to Nashville, where I am working to build a business creating custom embroidered and embellished products for everyday wear and special occasions.
