Magical Menagerie - Cockatrice - Digital Cross Stitch Pattern
Mythical and Magical Creatures still exist in the island kingdom of Wildermere where Queen Isolde has declared it illegal to hunt these extraordinary beasts. Once a year, though, a representative of each species volunteers to take part in the Magical Menagerie, spending the day in a hanging enclosure so the people of Wildermere can see the wondrous creatures up close. This is the Cockatrice, a creature born from a rooster's egg hatched by a toad or snake! Usually this creature's gaze is dangerous, but this Cockatrice will kindly avoid all eye contact with the excited onlookers. Finishing tutorial available on the Ingleside Imaginarium YouTube Channel.
Pattern uses 9 colors of DMC Cotton Floss, one color of Weeks Dye Works Hand Dyed Floss, and one color of Kreinik Metallic Thread.
Stitch count for each side is 46w x 63h.
Model is stitched on 32 count linen in "Dwarf" by Picture This Plus.
