Magical Menagerie - Hippocampus - Digital Cross Stitch Pattern
Mythical and Magical Creatures still exist in the island kingdom of Wildermere where Queen Isolde has declared it illegal to hunt these extraordinary beasts. Once a year, though, a representative of each species volunteers to take part in the Magical Menagerie, spending the day in a hanging enclosure so the people of Wildermere can see the wondrous creatures up close. This is the Hippocampus, a half horse, half fish creature, originally from the Mediterranean Sea off the islands of Greece. Every year, this playful aquatic creature enjoys cooling down the crowd by splashing them with water with its brightly colored fin! Pattern uses 5 colors of DMC Cotton Floss, one color of Weeks Dye Works Hand Dyed Floss, and one color of Kreinik Metallic Thread.
Stitch count is 60w x 47h.
