Emperor Dragon Fly - Digital Cross Stitch Pattern
During the warmer seasons on the banks and shores of your local ponds, lakes, and rivers, a flash of color and the hum of wings will catch your eyes and ears. At first you think the jewel-like creature zipping around is a regular dragonfly, once it lands, bending a cattail beneath its weight, you see you’ve found a Dragon Fly! The coloration of this Dragon Fly is based on the Emperor Dragonfly, and the bright colors of this beautiful creature are stitched into fabric with a mixture of Forbidden Fiber Co. hand dyed cotton threads and DMC. The Dragon Fly’s gossamer wings use Kreinik No. 4 metallic thread to catch the light, just like a dragonfly’s wings in the summer sky!
Pattern uses 15 colors of DMC Cotton Floss, 1 color of Kreinik #4 Very Fine Braid, and 5 colors of Forbidden Fiber Co. Hand Dyed Floss. DMC Conversion is provided.
Stitch count for each side is 134w x 96h.
Model is stitched on 32 count linen in Navajo Treasure by Fortnight Fabrics.
