JANUS - January Year of the Dragon - Digital Download
Janus, the two-faced dragon, is the first in a collection of designs to celebrate The Year of the Dragon in 2024. Inspired by the month of January’s namesake, Janus holds the key to unlock a new door, to start a new journey, to make a new beginning! Janus was the Roman god of pathways, beginnings, and transitions, who had two faces to look both forward in time and backward. This dragon was also inspired by the rare turtles, snakes, and other animals born with two heads. This design uses Mill Hill Beads and Kreinik metallic thread to kick off this yearlong celebration!
Pattern uses 8 colors of DMC cotton floss for cross stitches and back stitches, 1 color of Kreinik #4 Very Fine Braid, and 1 color of Mill Hill Seed Beads.
Stitch count is 80w x 75h.
